What is SeqMo?
SeqMo stands for Service, Equipment, Quality, and More. We proudly position ourselves as a top-notch service provider for lab equipment and beyond. The SeqMo Rewards Program is a loyalty-based incentive system where you earn SeqMoCash, a rewards currency from your purchases. SeqMoCash can be applied toward future discounts on eligible purchases, helping you get more value from every transaction.
Who is eligible to participate?
Any customer who completes a single transaction of USD $4,000 or more is automatically enrolled in the SeqMo Rewards Program.
Note: If a separate discount has already been offered for that transaction, the customer is not eligible for this program.
What counts as a qualifying transaction?
Any contract or service order that meets or exceeds USD $4,000 is considered qualifying. This includes all contract tiers and eligible Time & Materials jobs.
How is SeqMoCash earned?
- First qualifying transaction (≥ $4,000):
Earn 50% of the transaction value in SeqMoCash. This rewards currency is immediately redeemable, subject to redemption limits. - Subsequent transactions: SeqMoCash is earned based on your service plan tier
- PM/Care Plus: 20% of transaction value
- Gold Plan: 25% of transaction value
- Platinum Plan: 35% of transaction value
- Time & Materials: 3% of transaction value
How much discount can I get with my SeqMoCash?
Your SeqMoCash discount for each eligible transaction depends on your customer status or membership tier and how often you’re billed. Here’s how it works:
- T&M Customers: If you’re a T&M customer, you can get a discount of up to 3% on annually billed services only.
- PM/Care Plus Members: If you’re a PM/Care Plus member, you can get a discount of up to 10% on annually billed services only.
- Gold and Platinum Members: For Gold and Platinum members, the following discounts apply based on your billing cycle:
- Annually billed services: Up to a 10% discount
- Semi-annual billing: Up to an 8% discount
- Quarterly billing: Up to a 6% discount
Unused SeqMoCash always remains in your balance for future use, regardless of your customer status or membership tier.
Can I combine SeqMoCash with other discounts or promotions?
No. If a transaction has already received a separate discount (e.g., special pricing, volume discount, referral rebate, etc.), that transaction is not eligible for SeqMoCash accrual or redemption.
Can I redeem SeqMoCash on the same transaction in which I earned it?
Yes. The SeqMoCash earned from your initial purchase is immediately available and can be used up to the maximum allowed discount.
Can I save my SeqMoCash instead of using it immediately?
Yes. Redemption is optional. You may choose to accumulate SeqMoCash for larger discounts on future purchases.
Does my SeqMoCash expire?
Yes. SeqMoCash expires 18 months after your most recent transaction. Any qualifying transaction resets this expiration clock.
What service plans are eligible for rewards?
All service plans earn SeqMoCash after your first qualifying transaction, which earns at a one-time 50% rate. For all renewals or returning transactions, the following earning rates apply:
- PM/Care Plus: Includes preventive maintenance or service visit with SeqMoCash earning at a 20% rate.
- Gold Plan: Parts included, with service visits at a co-pay. Earns SeqMoCash at 25%.
- Platinum Plan: All-inclusive plan with no co-pay and SeqMoCash earning at 35%.
- Time & Materials: Pay-per-use, earns SeqMoCash at 3%.
Can I assign different plans to different instruments?
Yes. Each instrument can have its own plan, allowing a mix of Platinum, Gold, PM/Care Plus, or T&M across the same customer account.
How is SeqMoCash earned when I have multiple machines with different plans?
Each machine earns SeqMoCash individually based on its own plan tier.
Example:
- Machine A (Platinum, $10,000): 10,000 × 35% = 3,500 SeqMoCash
- Machine B (Gold, $8,000): 8,000 × 25% = 2,000 SeqMoCash
- Machine C (PM/Care Plus, $5,000): 5,000 × 20% = 1,000 SeqMoCash
Total SeqMoCash earned = 6,500
If your previous SeqMoCash balance was 4,000 and you redeem 2,300 (10% of $23,000),
New balance = 4,000 + 6,500 – 2,300 = 8,200 SeqMoCash
What if a contract increases in price next year due to inflation?
If a contract increases in price next year due to inflation, you will simply pay the new price. The SeqMoCash you redeem will still be subject to the following caps based on your customer status or membership tier and billing frequency:
- For T&M Customers: Your SeqMoCash redemption is capped at 3% for annually billed services.
- For PM/Care Plus Members: Your SeqMoCash redemption is capped at 10% for annually billed services, and is applicable only to annual billing cycles.
- For Gold and Platinum Members:
- For annual billing cycles: Your SeqMoCash redemption is capped at 10% of the transaction value.
- For semi-annual billing cycles: Your SeqMoCash redemption is capped at 8% of the transaction value.
- For quarterly billing cycles: Your SeqMoCash redemption is capped at 6% of the transaction value.
Redemption does not require adjusting your SeqMoCash in relation to the previous year’s spend.
Can I use or earn SeqMoCash from services performed outside of contract plans?
Yes. As long as the transaction is $4,000 or more, you earn SeqMoCash based on the active plan associated with that instrument at the time of the service. For transactions below $4,000, you can redeem SeqMoCash, but you will not earn new rewards.
Example:
If your instrument is enrolled in the Platinum Plan and you request a Decommission and Recommission Service totaling $6,000, you will earn SeqMoCash at 35%, which equals $2,100 back.
If you have $8,200 SeqMoCash and purchase tubings totaling $1,000, you can redeem $100 SeqMoCash (10% of $1,000). Your new balance will be $8,100 SeqMoCash.
If I refer another lab to SeqGen, do I get rewarded?
Yes. You receive 10% of the referred customer’s first transaction value in SeqMoCash.
For example, if your colleague signs a $20,000 contract, you receive 2,000 SeqMoCash.
Can I use referral SeqMoCash immediately?
Yes. Referral SeqMoCash is added to your active balance as soon as the referred customer pays. You may use them like regular SeqMoCash, subject to the same redemption limits.
What if I use only part of my SeqMoCash balance?
The unused SeqMoCash remains in your account and can be used in future eligible transactions within the 18-month expiration period. Any new purchase or service resets the expiration countdown.
Can I transfer SeqMoCash to a colleague or another department?
No. SeqMoCash is account-specific and non-transferable.
Can I get a cash refund for unused SeqMoCash?
No. SeqMoCash has no monetary value and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
Can SeqGen change the program rules?
Yes. SeqGen may revise the SeqMo Rewards Program at any time, with or without written notice to affected customers.
What happens if I cancel my contract or switch to T&M service?
You stop earning SeqMoCash under the original plan. However, any unused SeqMoCash remains valid until their expiration. You may still redeem SeqMoCash in accordance with redemption limits.
